Invotech Mexico helps the technician with his workshop: Changing the reciprocating compressor for Invotech scroll.

Mexico. Invotech Mexico, together with its ally Grupo Refrigerantes, held a series of in-person workshops presented by Eng. Raúl Gutiérrez, attended by refrigeration technicians from Extra stores throughout the Mexican territory.

These workshops were organized in order to learn the advantages and disadvantages of replacing a piston compressor with an invotech scroll and to know the process to make the change. Other important topics discussed in the workshop were the following:

• Setpoints for a system
• Good Practices in replacing a compressor
• Fault analysis and prevention
• Diagnostic method
• Types of refrigerants, possible to use
• Necessary tools
• Parametric ranges

The workshops were given on March 21, 22 and 23 in Tlalnepantla, Mexico City, achieving great acceptance by technicians, as it allows them to perfect professional skills and learn new methods in their work areas.
